Samantha Ruth Prabhu to reunite with Raj and DK for Citadel, will share screen with Varun Dhawan?

For a long time now, fans have known that The Family Man director Raj and DK would also be a part of Citadel. The spy thriller would have spin-offs based in various countries, and no points for guessing that one of these would be based in India. Now, we have gotten more details about this!

According to a report in Pinkvilla, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been roped in to be a part of the series. She will be paired opposite none other than Varun Dhawan . Samantha has already been seen in an actioner with Family Man 2 and we have also seen how solid her collab with Raj and DK was. With Varun Dhawan cast opposite her, this is surely going to be exciting. A source also told the portal, “The team is planning to mount it on a massive scale and get stunt coordinators of international repute on board. Both Varun and Samantha will do multiple workshops and training sessions to learn various forms of action next year before taking the series on floors.” It will go on floors next year, in 2022.

The spin-off will definitely be interesting to watch, given we know how well Raj and DK can handle action thrillers, and spy thrillers. The original version of the series featured Priyanka Chopra and was loved by one and all. Samantha Ruth Prabhu had recently been seen in a dance number from Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa. The actress is reportedly gearing up for her Bollywood debut. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is a busy man, who has films like Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Bhediya in his kitty. He will also soon begin shooting for Sriram Raghavan 's Ekkis and Sajid Nadiadwala's Sanki. We are just looking forward to the official announcement soon.
