Samrat Prithviraj: UP CM Yogi Adityanath to watch Akshay Kumar's period drama at special screening on June 2

    Besides Akshay and Manushi, the upcoming period drama also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit theatres on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

    Samrat Prithviraj: UP CM Yogi Adityanath to watch Akshay Kumar's period drama at special screening on June 2

    A special screening for Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj will be held on Thursday, June 2 for Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. Akshay along with his co-star Manushi Chhillar and director Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi will also be present for the screening.

    Yogi Adityanath is set to watch the inspiring story of the life of the last Hindu King, Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan played by Akshay in Yash Raj’s first historical drama. Confirming the news, Akshay said, “It is an honour for us that the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath ji is watching our film based on the life and daredevilry of the last Hindu Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who shed every drop of blood in his body to defend Bharatmata".

    Samrat Prithviraj follows the glorious life of brave king Prithviraj who fought valiantly to protect India’s freedom from merciless invader Muhammad of Ghor. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar. She will essay Princess Sanyogita, wife of Prithviraj in the larger-than-life cinematic spectacle.

    Further Dr. Chandraprakash also acknowledged Adityanath’s presence at the screening as a great honour. “Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan and his life is a living example of how every Indian must live for his family, his country, and his freedom.
