Sanjay Dutt begins intense workout routine for Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo'

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt shared a picture from his workout routine as he begins prep work for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo .

Sanjay Dutt's iconic portrayal of the villainous Adheera in the blockbuster K.G.F 2 was well received by fans and critics alike, no doubt that Lokesh has even bigger plans with the actor for Leo.

While it is rumored that Sanjay Dutt will be playing a villain role in the movie, there is also a chance that he could be playing a good guy.

The movie will be the third installment in the franchise following 2019's Kaithi which starred Karthi and 2022s Vikram which starred Kamal Haasan in the lead.

The franchise has grossed around 530 crores at the box office. Leo also marks the second collaboration between Lokesh and Vijay after 2021's Master.

Leo will see Vijay and Trisha reunite after a gap of 15 years, their last movie together was the 2008 action movie Kuruvi.

This movie will also mark their fifth collaboration after Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, and Kuruvi, three of which have been massive box-office successes.

There has been a lot of speculation about the plot of the movie and there is a rumor that the movie has a similar plot to the 2005 Hollywood action movie 'A History of Violence'.

In which a family man is forced to confront this violent past after he encounters someone from his old life as a gangster.

The cinematography will be handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. The movie will be edited by Philomin Raj who worked on the previous entries of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe.

The movie is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner Seven Screen Studio.

The full cast of the movie includes Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Manobala, and Janany Kunaseelan.

It has also been announced that director Lokesh Kanagaraj will be working on Kaithi 2 after the release of Leo.

Leo will hit theaters worldwide on 20 October 2023.
