Talking about the same, the trailer begins with a British official talking about Savarkar wherein he tells a fellow Britisher how the freedom fighter almost convinced him that he is on the wrong side with just one meeting, calling him the most dangerous man that he has ever met. We hear Hooda’s voiceover as Vinayak Damodar Savarkar wherein he says that people have always been taught that India got its independence through non-violence but this is not that story. We then hear him telling how Hindus and Muslims fought together during the rebellion of 1857 because they considered the nation above religion. He adds that Mazzini united Italy and similarly they will create an undivided India. Take a look at the same.

We are introduced to Ankita Lokhande as Savarkar’s wife Yamunabai who is worried about him traveling overseas. The trailer showcases how Savarkar’s methods were no-nonsense and aggressive. The trailer shows his values and opinions being in sharp contrast to that of Mahatma Gandhi who believed that non-violence and ahimsa should be adopted in the battle of Independence. Instead, Savarkar tells Gandhi that he is searching for such people who are willing to rip out the hearts of the Britishers.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’s trailer also focuses on the atrocities on the freedom fighter when he was locked in the Kaala Paani jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He is also seen aggressively warning that he won’t let India come under Mughal rule again if it attains independence from the Britishers. Fans are left impressed with the trailer. The movie will be released on March 22, 2024.
