Tamannaah is the latest addition to Rajinikanth's Jailer's stellar cast

Tamannaah Bhatia is the latest star to join the growing star cast of Rajinikanth 's upcoming action flick Jailer . Producers of the movie Sun Pictures made announced via Twitter that the actress has joined the sets of the movie.

Recently the movie Director Nelson roped in Malayalam superstar Mohanlal for a cameo in his upcoming movie Jailer.

The movie also Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a major role, marking the first time the actor will be sharing the screen with Rajinikanth.

Jailer will be the first time Rajinikanth will be working with director Nelson, The director's last movie was the Beast which starred Vijay in the lead role.

The movie was announced by Sun Pictures in February and production officially started in July with shooting taking place in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Coimbatore.

The movie has an ensemble cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Vinayakan.

The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh, making it his third collaboration with Rajinikanth, after Petta and Darbar. Cinematography is handled by Vijay Kartik Kannan and R. Nirmal is in charge of the editing.

Tamannaah has had a good run in 2022, with movies like Babli Bouncer, F3: Fun and Frustration, and Gurthunda Seethakalam.

The actress has three other projects lined up for 2023, the first is the mass action masala movie Bhola Shankar in which she will be starring Chiranjeevi and Keerthy Suresh.

The Bollywood movie Bole Chudiyaan in which she will be sharing the screen with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and finally she will be making her Malayalam debut in the movie Bandra.

In Jailer Rajinikanth plays the role of a Muthuvel Pandian the warden of the notorious prison. However, the plot of the movie remains under wraps.

Jailer will be dubbed in all major Indian languages and is expected to hit theaters worldwide on 14 April 2023.
