Bhumi Pednekar and Shehnaaz Gill promise a confusing but entertaining roller coaster ride in Thank You For Coming

When we first got a glimpse of Thank You For Coming, the stellar star cast left us super excited. Bhumi Pednekar is famous for her versatility, whereas Shehnaaz Gill and Kusha Kapila are beloved rising stars of the industry. Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi, on the other hand, are well known for being top level entertainers all over social media. Bringing them together is a big achievement on its own and our expectations obviously increased tenfold. Well, the much awaited trailer of their upcoming film is now out and our expectations have definitely been met. But there is too much hotch-potch in the 2 minutes 37 seconds sneak peek.

The trailer begins with Bhumi talking about fairy tales we have grown up listening to. The princess kisses a frog who turns into Prince Charming and they live happily ever after. But the actress snaps us back to reality when she reveals she has never had an orgasm. When she finally does experience it, Bhumi’s character doesn’t remember who her knight in shining armor was. Yes, the story is fun and the topic needs to be discussed openly. But the twist is a little too much to believe. Nevertheless, on the scale of entertainment, Thank You For Coming promises to be a fun rollercoaster ride. We have high expectations from the film.

Along the way, we got a few glimpses of Bhumi’s on-screen gal pals Dolly, Shibani and our Punjabi kudi Shehnaaz. Kusha owns the screen as her sassy acquaintance whereas Karan Kundrra leaves us wanting more with his charm. Bhumi’s character is refreshing while her fun on-screen aura is a total treat! But we do hope to see more of her co-stars in the film than we did in this trailer, because as we mentioned in the beginning, this is an exceptional case of casting coup that the makers have pulled off.

All in all, we can’t wait to watch Thank You For Coming on the silver screen on 6th October. What did you think of this naughty and nice trailer?
