    Ever since the first title reveal teaser of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor ’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar was revealed by the makers, it started creating a huge frenzy amongst the masses. However, not only this but now we also have some other scoops surrounding the poster and the plot of the movie. Do you know that the poster of the film may have been inspired by a film that belonged to none other than Ranbir’s grandfather Raj Kapoor ?

    Talking about the same, the first poster of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar showcases Ranbir Kapoor holding Shraddha Kapoor with one arm while she leans backward. However, Ranbir has a rather traumatized and disgusted expression on his face. Now, some eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that the poster bears a stark resemblance to the iconic poster of Raj Kapoor and Nargis’ Barsaat which has the duo in a similar posture.     Now, further talking about the plot, by the first teaser and the title released by the makers, fans have also started decoding the story of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. Well, most of the fans are concluding that the film is based on a ‘fake’ love story that is concocted by Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s characters for a reason that will get to know in the movie. A Reddit user also guessed the plot of the movie wherein Ranbir is a therapist and Shraddha is a waitress and the two go on to meet in Spain. The duo then pretends to be in love to weave a false story in front of their families in Delhi. The usage of Farzi Café that translates to fake and the mentioning of the word ‘Nautanki’ (drama) by Shraddha in her caption is further making fans confirm that the plot is indeed about the lead pair getting into a fake love story.

    However, we will not be surprised if it’s revealed that Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s characters fall in love for real in the film. The movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar has been directed by Luv Ranjan. It will see a Holi release next year.
