Twitter hails Karan Johar as a ‘proud nana’, meme fest ensues over Ranbir-Alia’s daughter getting launched in Bollywood next

Filmmaker Karan Johar ’s admiration for actress Alia Bhatt has been something of a running joke among social media users. On November 6, the actress welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with her husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor , Karan penned a heartfelt note. He wrote, “My heart is full of love… Welcome to the world baby girl… you have so much love waiting for you… I love you @aliaabhatt and RK!! To the moon and back!!!! So this makes me a proud Nana!!!! (red heart emojis).” Soon after, Twitter users started a meme fest on proud ‘nana’ wondering if the filmmaker will also launch Alia’s daughter too.

While one of the Twitter users poked fun saying “Breaking: Karan Johar already signed a contract for newly born baby girl (Ranbir and Alia) for Dharma productions.” Another wrote, “Alia & Ranbir blessed with a baby girl & Karan Johar already signed her for student of the year part 5.” Some even shared memes on how Karan is already preparing the script and finalizing it for the little ones’ acting debut. For those unaware, Karan has always been the target of nepotistic jokes ever since he began providing a launch pad for star kids. From Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Ananya Panday and soon to be launched Shanaya Kapoor, each actor was launched by the filmmaker. While Alia and Varun made their debut with Student of The Year, Ananya stepped into acting with its second instalment, i.e Student of the Year 2. Well, star kid Shanaya will soon be making her acting debut in Bedhadak backed by Dharma Productions.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt got discharged from the hospital today, i.e November 10, and she safely reached home with her husband and newborn baby. The pictures and videos of the two arriving Vastu with their little one in the car have gone viral. Workwise, the new parents have interesting projects in their kitty. While Alia will be seen in Karan’s next directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranbir will feature opposite Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ranjan’s next.
