War 2: Ayan Mukerji shoots chase sequence for Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s actioner in Spain? See leaked video here

The buzz around War 2, the upcoming sequel of War(2019), has been increasing manifolds. Ever since the reports of Jr NTR joining Hrithik Roshan in the actioner surfaced, the excitement level surged. It further went high when it was reported that Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji will helm the action-packed drama. To add to the anticipation, several pictures and videos have been doing rounds on the internet, offering a glimpse of the car chase sequences being shot in Spain.

A Reddit and X user shared a bunch of photos and videos from Spain which featured Ayan busy at work. In one of the videos, a car chase sequence is in the making, while Ayan is seen walking in the streets of Spain with his international and Indian crew by his side in one of the photos. Iconic locations have been selected to shoot high-octane sequences, promising an incredible onscreen cinematic experience. However, the production house Yash Raj Films has not yet officially confirmed the numerous reports surfaced about War 2 so far.

For the unversed, War is a 2019 action thriller that revolves around an elite shadow unit of R&AW led by agent Kabir (Hrithik Roshan). When Kabir mysteriously goes rogue, Khalid(Tiger Shroff), a soldier with a murky past, hunts down his mentor, resulting in a deadly war. In the upcoming sequel War 2 will take forward Hrithik’s character with the new addition of Jr NTR, reportedly as an antagonist. It is being said that Kiara Advani will be joining the team.

Apart from this, War 2 is set to take forward the YRF spy universe and will reportedly feature Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in cameo roles. “The film is exciting for several reasons but also because Ayan’s directorial will be the first film in the YRF spy universe to bring the three megastars together. The epic Tiger X Pathaan X Kabir union onscreen will happen in ‘War 2’,” said a source close to India Today.
