Why is 'arrest Jubin Nautiyal' trending on Twitter? Singer stands in defense; here's what happened

Singer Jubin Nautiyal , known for chartbusters Raataan Lambiyan , Lut Gaye, and Tum Hi Aana among others, has upset netizens who are demanding his arrest. But what went so wrong that Twitterati is trending ‘ Arrest Jubin Nautiyal ’? The trend started after the singer announced his US concert which is allegedly organized by Jai Singh. And now who is this person? Reportedly, Jai is a ‘wanted criminal’ over drug smuggling. He is also linked to a banned Khalistani outfit and involved in providing logistical support to them. The alleged connection of Jubin to Jai has offended netizens who have not only asked for his arrest but demanded the government probe the entire matter. The Twitterati also felt that his concert will bring disgrace to the country.

One of the Twitter users wrote, “Jubin Nautiyal is the latest Bollywood guy having links with ISI & Khalistani agents. The organiser of his US concert turns is a Khalistani criminal, Jai Singh absconding for 30 yrs.Rehan Siddiqui, an ISI agent, is heaping praises on Jubin. That's why #BoycottbollywoodCompletely” Another wrote, “Govt should investigate this #ArrestJubinNautiyal.” One of them commented, “Works with the traitors and enemies of the country, you are a traitor, you are a traitor to the country, you are #ArrestJubinNautyal #ArrestJubinNautiyal.”

Amid the controversy, Jubin took to Twitter and addressed the matter saying that it is rumour. “Hello friends and twitter family, I’ve been travelling and will be shooting for the next whole month. Don’t get upset on rumours. I love my country 🇮🇳🙏🏻. I love you all 🌹," he tweeted. The alleged link of Jubin with criminal Jai Singh has led to the uproar of his arrest on Twitter. Well, going by Jubin’s tweet, he is continuing with his concert as she wrote that he will be traveling the next whole month for the shoot.
