    When it was announced that Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn starrer Thank God will have a showdown with Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar ’s Ram Setu , fans were quite excited to see this clash. Judging by the trailers of their films, we all expected two major treats coming our way. It was going to be a tough choice to make for movie lovers! While Sidharth and Ajay’s fantasy comedy follows the story of a man who plays the game of life with Chitragupt after dying, Ram Setu revolves around Dr. Aryan Kulshrestha who is an atheist archaeologist turned believer.

    The films already had pressure on them because they are Diwali releases, and a big holiday means high expectations from audiences. Well much to our delight, early reviews are now in to help fans decide which film is worth a watch. Overseas film critic and analyst Umair Sandhu shared his honest opinion on social media. While he referred to Ram Setu as ‘strictly average’, Thank God got a glowing review. He wrote: “Hahaha! Paisa Vasool comedy Mass Entertainer! Maza a gaya! #ajaydevgn & #sidharthmalhotra HIT combo!! Engaging Comedy flick! Diwali HIT.”

    Well, Thank God had already become the talk of the town when the entertaining trailer released along with the film’s first track titled Manike, starring Nora Fatehi and Sidharth in a sizzling never seen before avatar. Helmed by Indra Kumar, the comedy also stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. Abhishek Sharma’s directorial Ram Setu, on the other hand, features Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha along with Akshay.
