The Oscars 2022 event saw one of the most shocking events in the history of the award ceremony. Actor Will Smith punched host and comedian Chris Rock after the latter made a joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith . Now, the dairy brand Amul has once again dedicated its popular topicals to the controversial event.

Talking about the same, the topical had the caricature of Will Smith punching Chris Rock. The words ‘Chris Rocked By Slap’ can be seen written on the topical. Furthermore, the words ‘Snack, Don’t Smack’ can be seen written below.

The brand captioned the same stating, “#Amul Topical: Actor strikes MC at Oscars.” The fans were quick to bestow the topical with positive reactions. One of the fans wrote, “love it when Amul makes illustrations based on current trending thing.” Take a look at their post.

Talking about the incident, Will Smith earlier today went on to apologize to Chris Rock for punching him at the ceremony. His statement read, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be. There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness. Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada's medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.”

Furthermore, the King Richard actor apologized to the Academy. Will Smith further mentioned, “I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees, and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family. I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us. I am a work in progress.”
