Amyra Dastur Wanted Delhi Shoot For Kung Fu Yoga

The team of ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ is currently shooting in Jodhpur. The movie stars Amyra Dastur, Sonu Sood, Aamir Khan and Chinese action star Jackie Chan. Amyra revealed that she wanted her co-star Jackie to shoot in Delhi as well. Amyra stated, “I love Delhi. I was trying to convince them to shoot there. I was like, ‘But we should shoot in Delhi. They have so many monuments there.’ But they kept saying no”.

The Mr. X actress also stated that Jackie loves the country despite it being hot. Because of security issues, the actor cannot step out too much but has been roaming around within the perimeter with the actress. Amyra is enjoying shooting and is thankful for the learning experience as well. “It is crazy. I am learning so many things here. Action has become so easy for me now. Also, shooting for the film is a great workout and I have become an expert in hand-to-hand combat. It’s all because of my director Stanley Tong”, she said.

The 22-year-old actress stated that she found the action scenes to be a little challenging initially. She got a few bruises but considers them to be “victory marks”. ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ will be a multi-lingual action-adventure and will be a co-production of Taihe Entertainment and Shinework Media.
