Our first look into Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next big adventure, Thor: Ragnarok, is here. Chris Hemsworth features on a very colourful cover of Entertainment Weekly with Cate Blanchett and Tessa Thompson without his now iconic long blonde hair or the mighty Mjölnir.

Thor: Ragnarok is Hemsworth’s sixth movie playing the powerful yet polite Norse God. He will be joined by Mark Ruffalo and Tom Hiddleston who play Hulk and Loki respectively.

Other images shared by Marvel feature Loki with (thankfully) his original, unchanged hair...

Jeff Goldblum gives off some really ‘Strange’ vibes...

... as he plays Grandmaster, ‘one of the oldest living beings in the universe.’

There is also a very emo Cate Blanchett...

...who plays Hela, the goddess of death in the film.

However, it’s not just Thor’s hair that has changed. The film’s colour grading looks far more adventurous than anything we have ever seen before in the MCU, something for which it is often criticised. The colours are deeply saturated, diverse and give the shots more comic books-y vibe.
