Fugly out with its first theatrical trailer

Olympic boxer Vijender Singh is all set to mark his Bollywood debut as the first trailer of his film, Fugly, has been launched officially. “A social thriller film with a message”, Fugly, also stars Jimmy Shergill, Arjun Kapoor’s brother Mohit Marwah, Arfi Lamba and newbie Kiara Advani.

Set in the backdrop of Delhi, Fugly looks like a fun-packed entertainer from its first trailer which gets more spiced up with Shergill’s entry. Jimmy is an impolite Haryanvi police officer in the film who is quite rude to the young guys, Mohit, Kiara and Arfi and even blackmails them misusing his power. Fugly has been directed by Kabir Sadanand and produced by Grazing Goats which is owned by Akshay Kumar and producer Ashvini Yardi. The movie will also have a special number featuring Akshay and Salman Khan. The first look of the film was launched by Akshay who shared the stage with the newcomers. He also introduced Mohit to the audience. Earlier scheduled to release on May 16, Fugly will now open on June 13 to avoid a box-office clash with Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti.
