Hate Story 3 Has Given Me That Confidence Again: Sharman Joshi

After delivering three back to back flops, actor Sharman Joshi is happy that his latest release Hate Story 3 got acclaimed. The 36-year old actor went through a tough phase in the past three years with War Chod Na Yaar, Gang of Ghosts and Super Nani not doing well at the box office.

Sharman recently told a news portal, “I was going through a low phase with my three films back-to-back not working. Getting a hit was very important. The success of Hate Story 3 has given me that confidence again. It’s a great feeling, but now I have to work harder for the next one and hope it is a success too”.

The 3 Idiots star further said that, “To be established as a bankable star I need to give few more hits. I don’t get into the economics of it, but as far as acting is concerned I have complete faith in myself. You do get typecast in certain roles, so establishing yourself takes a little time, to earn the audience’s faith”.

The actor who has been a part of multi-starrers like Golmaal and Life…In a Metro among others added that he does not select scripts based on his image and is not apprehensive about the audience’s opinion.
