I Am Not The Spokesperson Of Bollywood: Imran Khan

The recent Uri attack caused a stir in Indians which was followed by a surgical attack by the Indian Army in PoK. A couple of days after the surgical strike, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association banned Pakistani actors from the Bollywood industry. The decision of banning Pak artists was supported by few actors and some denied it.

Recently, actor Imran Khan was seen at the screening of Swara Bhaskar's web series, It's Not That Simple. When asked about the ongoing issue of banning Pakistani artists, the Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na actor said, “Unfortunately, we live in a society where... if people raise voice over something, goons turn up at your house to beat you up. That's what I really like to avoid in life. I don't have time for these things. I am not the spokesperson of Bollywood. I am a simple citizen of this country”.

Seems like, Imran is not in a mood to land up in any controversy and is playing safe. He was last seen in the Katti Batti which released in 2015. On his future projects, the actor was quoted as saying that he has not yet decided and needs more time.
