John Abraham Leaves Aankhen 2?

The sequel to the 2002 film ‘Aankhen’, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal and Paresh Rawal, was being planned with Amitabh, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham attached to it. The original, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, was produced by Gaurang Doshi. Now, it has been reported that John has left the project.

Bollywood Hungama has brought news that the reason behind John’s departure was the injury that he suffered during the shoot of ‘Force 2’. This unfortunate mishap led to delays in the projects that he had signed. Thus, the actor preferred to leave the ‘Aankhen’ sequel. Another reason was that producer Gaurang did not agree on the lump-sum amount that John was asking for the project.

The ‘Rocky Handsome’ actor will be seen in ‘Dishoom’ and ‘Force 2’. The former will be released on July 29 and will star Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Saqib Saleem. ‘Dishoom’ is directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
