Judwaa 2 Goes On Floors!

Finally! Varun Dhawan’s highly anticipated ‘Judwaa’ sequel has gone on floors. The team got together for a mahurat which was held on Friday. Varun’s father, David Dhawan, will be directing the film which is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The original, which came out in 1997, starred Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor, and it is being speculated that the duo will have a cameo in the sequel.

Sajid’s wife Warda shared a few pictures from the sets on Twitter along with the caption “And so it Kickstarts #Judwaa2 #SufyanNadiadwala #ShafaatNadiadwala #SubhanKhanNadiadwala @NGEMovies 's clap team need your love now..”. According to reports, Varun has been rehearsing for quite some time for a devotional Ganapati song, which is expected to be the first segment of the shoot.

The Dilwale actor will be sharing screen space with Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez. Varun and Jacqueline have previously worked together on last year’s actioner, ‘Dishoom’, which also starred John Abraham. ‘Judwaa 2’ does not have a fixed release date as of yet but news of it going on floors, comes as some consolation for the fans.
