Parineeti Chopra, Ayushmann Khurrana Celebrate Durga Pooja

Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana are currently shooting for their film ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’. On the occassion of Durga Pooja, the duo dressed up in ethnic wear and posed for a photo shoot for HT Cafe. Parineeti wore a beautiful pink and peach sari while Ayushman wore a blue Nehru jacket along with a grey kurta.

Ayushmann recently shared that his debut film ‘Vicky Donor’ was shot in a Durga Puja pandal. He stated that it was the first time he had been in a pandal and that it was quite auspicious for him. He plays a Bengali in ‘Meri Pyari Bindu’ and has become somewhat accustomed to the traditions.

He also shared that Parineeti loves Bengali sweets like Rasgulla, Mishti Doi and Sondesh as well. The actress spoke about her attire and shared that she was inspired by what Rani Mukerji wears during Ganpati and Durga Puja celebrations. Rani is Parineeti’s favourite actor.

‘Meri Pyari Bindu’ is being directed by Akshay Roy and is expected to hit the screens in the first half of next year.
