UAE has denied entry to Riteish Deshmukh starrer Bangistan as they found the content of the film offensive. They have raised a very strong objection to the release of the film, read a statement from the flick’s representative. The film, which is based on suicide bombing, was mostly shot in Poland and Ladakh.

Co-producer of the film Ritesh Sidhwani is quite upset with the decision. He told IANS, “It is very disappointing that the censor board finds the film offensive as there is no such content in the film. We shall be sending it to the re-examining committee”.

The plot of the film revolves around 2 suicide bombers, played by Riteish and Pulkit Samrat, who have been persuaded into an explosive mission but by the end they realise that their wish to die is a futile exercise. Chandan Roy Sanyal is also a part of the film, playing a lead role. Jacqueline Fernandez is playing a cameo role in the film, which is slated to release in India tomorrow.
