With the release of Spectre around the corner, reports have started flowing in about who might play the next Agent 007. Spectre is supposed to be Daniel Craig’s last film as James Bond. According to reports, Damian Lewis has been shortlisted for the role.

Damian is known for his role in the hit series Homeland as Sergeant Nicholas Brody. He was also seen in Band of Brothers, where he played the role of Major Richard Winters, the leader of the 2nd Battalion of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment. When Daniel Craig was asked if he would play Bond one more time, he said, “At this moment, no. I have a life and I’ve got to get on with it a bit. But we’ll see”.

Currently, nothing is for certain as no official announcement has been made by either Daniel Craig or the producers. Daniel might also be offered a more productive role based on the success of Spectre. The next instalment in the James Bond franchise will hit theatres on November 6 in the U.S.
