Last year, director Sam Taylor-Johnson’s ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ created records at the box office in February. The erotic romantic drama film featuring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan grossed $30.3 million on its opening day. It became the biggest February opening off all-time and minted $93 million during the extended four-day holiday weekend.

This February belongs to Ryan Reynolds, who is pulling the crowds into the theatres with his recent release ‘Deadpool’. The superhero film based on the Marvel Comics grossed over $41.5 million on Friday. The Tim Miller directorial is expected to do a business of over $115.3 million over the next three days.

It  is the best opening for a Ryan Reynolds film. The actor failed to make an impact with his previous superhero movie ‘Green Lantern’, but this time he is bang on target. People have been eagerly waiting for the movie all around the world and even its teasers and trailer got great response. It is expected to do amazing business over the coming weeks.
