Drew Pearce: Jodie Foster Found 'Hotel Artemis' Herself

Hollywood actor-directors always have something to surprise us. The new we have is - Actress Jodie Foster discovered 'Hotel Artemis' on her own, said the director Drew Pearce. Jodie has actually discovered the script and has reached the makers on her own.

"The casting of Jodie Foster was incredible, as she actually discovered the script on her own and reached out to us about the role," Pearce said in a statement. "Don't ask me how she got it -- officially it hadn't even left the office. Which is very in-keeping with the Artemis, to be fair," he added.

The action-thriller will mark Foster's first acting project since 2013's 'Elysium'. She earlier said that America has a problem with women directors. Foster will be playing a nurse who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals in a near-future Los Angeles torn by riots. The movie will hit the screens on July 6.
