New Game of Thrones Promo Says ‘The Wait Is Over’

A new Game of Thrones season 6 promo has been released. The highly anticipated season will be aired on April 24 on HBO. The clip shows some new footage along with the phrase ‘The Wait is Over’.

The video begins with Tyrion Lannister’s narration, “wherever you are, wherever you go.. someone wants to murder you..” It also shows scenes of a great war, Daenerys being walked as a slave and several other action sequences. It is known that the sixth season does not have a book to fall back on, unlike the previous seasons.

Game of Thrones is based on the novel series ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by George R.R. Martin. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are the show runners and will also serve as executive producers along with Frank Doelger, Bernadette Caulfield and Carolyn Strauss. Season 6 will bring back the cast members including Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams, Natalie Dormer and Sophie Turner.
