Bigg Boss 10, Episode 31: When The Contestants Lived Like Nomads And Behaved Liked Them Too

Bigg Boss 10 has finally come a controversial point which the show is famous for. Loud scuffles and some fights getting physical and abusive is what Episode 31 was all about. Rohan Mehra seems to have taken to heart Salman Khan’s criticism that he along with Karan and Rahul are making the house boaring and are less involved. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor was in for a showdown in this episode with Manveer Gujjar.

Here are the highlights of the episode –

Lock Down the luxury budget task – Bigg Boss 10 inmates house woke up to the worst surprise ever. The new task presented by Bigg Boss for the luxury budget was the biggest challenge ever where all their basic necessities food, clothes and shelter were locked down by Bigg Boss. In order to win these back the inmates had to win them back by participating the task in two teams. The team who gains lowest points by not indulging in the slightest of luxuries wins.

The inmates had to dress in jute bags and cook in the garden area with a chulha. They were supposed to even sleep in the garden area and use the loo in the jail as the toilets were locked down. Rohan and Mona Lisa are elected as the captains with  Rahul, Lopa, Karan, Bani and Lokesh in Rohan’s team and Gaurav, Manu, Manveer, Swami and Nitibha in Monalisa’s team. 

The drama caused by Swami Omji – Swamji who clearly had no sympathy with his own team refused to give up his clothes to reduce their points. Manu got into a tiff with Swamiji  and threatened to snatch them away. Manveer refused to give Swamji any food and the opposite team took quite a lot of advantage of this.

Omji even gave ideas to Rohan to reduce their points and Rohan and Lopa shared their food with him. Manveer who was clearly pissed at him locked himself in the loo when Omji had to attend the nature’s call.

The Rasgulla Task – Rahul and Manu are elected by their respective teams  for the task in which whoever eats the maximum Rasgullas gets reduced points. Since there where complaints of cheating Bigg Boss discarded this task.

The luxury of a pillow – Karan was found by Monalisa to be using a pillow and she told Rohan that she will add points for his team since they are flouting rules, Rohan got pissed and gave her a fitting reply. Manveer got himself involved and the fight escalated.

The Karela Juice task –Lopa and Gurav stand opposite each other in this one. Gaurav tells Bani that he thinks that his team doesn’t trust him.

The scuffle that got ugly – Manveer and Rohan’s fight escalated to the extent that the two landed more than a few verbal abuses at one another. Manveer threw away his mic and refused to wear it. The two were summoned by Bigg Boss and warned by Bigg Boss on derogatory remarks based on religion, caste or community. He even asked manveer to wwear his mic back since it amounted to flouting rules of the house.

What this fight leads to in the house is yet to be seen but it surely brought the essence for which Bigg Boss is so famous.
