    'The Jungle Book' Crossed Rs. 100 Crores On The Second Weekend!

    Jon Favreau's 3D animation 'The Jungle Book' has got an overwhelming response in its opening weekend. The film that released in four languages (Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu) in India on 8th April, 2016 minted Rs. 10.09 crore on the very first day of its release.

    Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh disclosed the two-day earnings of the film which have been a grand total of Rs. 23.60 crore. 



    However, the film opened to a full house and earned Rs. 16.59 crore on Sunday and the total earnings of the film went up to Rs. 40.19 crore. Mowgli's adventure is being loved by parents and kids alike.

    Taran Adarsh had predicted that 'The Jungle Book' will become the biggest opener of 2016 after Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' if it earns the numbers. 


    'The Jungle Book' has achieved the numbers trade analyst, Taran Adarsh had predicted on the 2nd Sunday of its release. 



    The film stars Indian-American actor Neel Sethi along with Ben Kingsley, Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray and Idris Elba. The Hindi version of the film has been dubbed by Bollywood actors Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah and Om Puri.
