Watch: Kareena's Grumpy Reaction To Losing Out On The Best Debut Award Will Leave You In Splits!

Kareena Kapoor through the years has become a name to reckon with amongst the Bollywood actresses. She has time and again proved to be a trend setter in her 16 years long run in the industry and anything she does become a style everyone wants to follow. It has not always been this way though. Kareena made her debut with a flop Refugee 2000, opposite Abhishek Bachchan.

Yet at all of the award ceremonies for the year, she won the best debut except one. In the race was also Ameesha Patel who started out with the super hit Kaho Na Pyaar Hai opposite Hirthik Rosha. Ameesha won over Kareena, at the Zee Cine Awards 2001. Well, Kareena had make do with a consolation prize which was the Lux Face Of The Year and her reaction to losing out was priceless!

Well, interestingly Kareena was the first choice for Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and had also started filming a few secens. Kareena later walked out on the project.  It was in the fear of being sidelined by Hrithik’s persona who was that main focus of the film and Ameesha came on board. After Refugee flopped we are sure that Kareena must have cursed that moment she walked out on the super hit project of Rakesh Rohan and at this award show, Kareena’s regert was grudgingly evident as she walked up the stage to collect her 'COMPENSATORY' Face Of The Year Award. Everything from her look to walk to speech spoke volumes about how disturbed she was over losing.

Although we are sure she would also laugh watching this video today, but it made for one epic BURN moment in the history of award shows! To add a cherry on the cake Ameesha’s expression was like BITCH PLEASE as Kareena walked down the stage!!
