Deepika Padukone Steals the Show in the New Trailer For xXx: Return of Xander Cage

This Friday saw the release of Inferno, a hyped Hollywood franchise film which had Bollywood's own Irrfan Khan in a key role. It's not uncommon of of course as Irrfan Khan has been involved with big-time Hollywood projects for quite a while now. What's surprising however is the fact that for the first time in quite a whille he's not the only actor who has that opportunity.

2017 will see the Hollywood debuts of two of our Bollywood's own: Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

While the former will star as the antangonist in the remake of classic TV series Baywatch, the latter is all set to star in the third film of the popular action franchise xXx.

And since it is Deepika Padukone's xXx: Return of Xander Cage which will release first out of the two, we have had a chance to delve into her role more than Priyanka's. But, having said that, we have only seen glimpses of her character so far, with many cynics hinting at a sidelined role for the actress.

Of course that changed yesterday with the release of xXx latest trailer. Though, it can be pointed out that the trailer is tailor-made to excite the Indian audiences, so the attention is more on Piku actress than it usually will be. But nevertheless, the clip is a proof that the actress will not only have a substantial role in the movie, but possibly a memorable one.
