Kalank Teaser Looks Like The Most Picturesque Romantic Tragedies Of All Times!

One of the biggest and most anticipated releases of the year has been Karan Johar's Kalank. Starring Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha, this Abhishek Varman film gained attention the moment it was announced in 2018. And lo, the teaser of the film is already here and it will leave you gasping.

The 2-minute long teaser would initially make you wonder how long the trailer might be, but to introduce 6 characters and a bit of the storyline would take considerable screen time. And looking at the teaser, we do not blame them really. 

The teaser begins with just the glimpse of the characters, but it soon moves on to introduce the actors and when it moves on to the storyline, we realise that this is a story of relationships and love, and of revenge.

The teaser has just two dialogues- one about some relationships being like debts, that is being voiced by Varun Dhawan and one about revenge and destruction by Alia's character. The basic storyline seems to be the star-crossed love story of Alia's Roop and Varun's Zafar and that this is love and not a 'kalank'.

The teaser meanders through the lives of Sonakshi and Aditya's character as well, who are in love. But Sonakshi's chacter seems to be already married. Madhuri Dixit plays a courtesan once again and it seems like she is also a teacher of Alia's.

The teaser also boasted of grand sets that would remind you of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the takeaway scene was where we saw Sanjay and Madhuri together sharing the same frame!
