The latest season of Quantico courted a major controversy for showing a Hindu terror attack plot in its last episode and Priyanka Chopra has between caught up in the eye of the storm. Signing Salman Khan’s Bharat

Although in a light-hearted manner, But Salman Khan did not shy away from taking a dig at Priyanka’s international stardom. While announcing the news of Priyanka signing up for Salman’s Bharat, he addressed Pee Cee and said ‘Waise humari film Hindi mai hain’. Waving Tricolor On Independence Day

Like every Indian, Priyanka took to social media and posted a video where she was happily waving a tricolor, only instead of a flag it was a tricolor scarf that she waved with pride and happiness on Republic Day. What followed was a severe backlash blaming her for disrespecting our National Flag and obviously questioning her ‘Indianness’.

Helping Syrian Refugees

This was perhaps the most ridiculous one of all. As a part of her role as UN Goodwill Ambassador, she visited the Syrian refugees of war and spend time with all the refugee kids there who are living in the appalling condition in that war-torn part of the world. Instead of applauding her heart touching efforts, haters and trollers shamed her for not helping the kids in India, her own country. The actress rightly questioned how problems of one child are bigger or smaller than that of another and put an end to the controversy.
