Bunty Aur Babli 2 Actress Sharvari Auditioned With Siddhant Chaturvedi In 2014 For Another Film, Recalls Their First Meeting

Sharvari made her debut this year with Amazon Prime’s web series The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye, alongside the extremely talented Sunny Kaushal. She is now busy gearing up for her upcoming Bollywood film, Aditya Chopra’s crime comedy Bunty Aur Babli 2. Also featuring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the film is a spiritual sequel to Shaad Ali’s 2005 hit with the same name.

In a recent chat with Spotboye, the actress opened up about working with Gully Boy star Siddhant and stated, “I did one audition round with Siddhant. He was locked for the script before me.” She continued to reveal, “The first time I met Siddhant was in 2014. So Siddhant and I have also auditioned for some film that was supposed to happen in 2014. So we had auditioned for that and I have seen him so many times at Mukesh Chhabra sir’s office for some audition.” Sharvari added, “In fact I met Siddhant after a few screenings. I remember Siddhant and I were sitting at an audition and he told me that he was going to shoot for Inside Edge. He said his Gully Boy is releasing soon. I remember all these conversations.”

Talking about her co-stars Saif and Rani, Sharvari shared that the two are very chill. She also stated that she was a big fan of Bunty Aur Babli as a child and added, “I even got clothes stitched like Rani when I was a kid. I was a big fan of Bunty Aur Babli.”
