    Madhuri Dixit Speaks Out on #Metoo Allegations On Alok Nath; Says It Was So Shocking

    The lady with the million-dollar smile Madhuri Dixit during a press interaction confessed that she was shocked to read names of Alok Nath and filmmaker Soumik Sen, people she has previously worked with in the #MeToo movement because she was not privy to this side of their personalities.

    In the #MeToo movement which hit Bollywood in August 20178 Nath was accused of rape by writer-director Vinta Nanda. Sen who directed Madhuri in Gulaab Gang, has been accused of inappropriate behaviour by three women. Madhuri had also worked with Alok Nath in the huge blockbuster films of all time Hum Aapke Hain Kaun?

    Madhuri was literally flabbergasted to another level when she came became aware of things, Quipped she, “It is always shocking because you have known them and you’ve not known them like that.”

    The actress furthered, “it is always shocking when something like that comes out. What you have known then and what you are reading is two different people. It was so shocking.”

    The actress is currently all set for her upcoming release Total Dhamaal. Post which she would be seen in Karan Johar’s Kalank, which features an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Singh and Aditya Roy Kapoor. Originally Sridevi was meant to do the film before she passed away in February last year. The role eventually went to Madhuri. The actress also revealed that it took time for her to “digest” that Sridevi wasn’t there anymore.

    Total Dhamaal has been directed by Indra Kumar and features Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi , Riteish Deshmukh, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Sanjay Mishra amongst others.
