    2021 has been Rajkummar Rao’s year as his brilliance shorn through once again in his two released projects Ramin Bahrani’s The White Tiger and the horror comedy Roohi. So it comes as no big surprise that the actor has decided to hike his fee for his next project which is Netflix’s Monica, Oh My Darling.

    Rajkummar Rao’s last film Roohi released in theatres right before they were shut down yet again due to the rise in Covid-19 cases. The film garnered positive reviews while Rajkummar Rao’s The White Tiger went on to garner a lot of international acclaims and also earned an Oscar nomination.


    The star who has made his place among the top stars of Bollywood with back-to-back brilliant performances since his debut in 2010 is asking for Rs. 15 crores to star in Monica, Oh My Darling according to a Bollywood Hungama report.

    The actor’s appeal with the audiences as a performer who can fit into any role he takes up certainly back this fee hike.

    On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao has completed work on the Badhaai Ho sequel Badhaai Do earlier this year which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. He will also be seen in Hum Do Humare Do with Kriti Sanon, a drama about a couple who decides to adopt parents.
