Salman Khan Alia Bhatt Starrer Inshallah Not Postponed But Shelved, SLB’s Production House Confirms

Last night, we got to hear that Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah would not release on Eid 2020. This is the same film that had gotten of us interested not only because of the lead pairing, but also because this marked director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s reunion with Salman Khan after Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.  

Well, now we have got the real reason as to why Inshallah would not release on Eid 2020. The project, that was helmed by Bhansali Productions, has been shelved for the time being. The report is confirmed and it had been tweeted by the production house itself.

Taking to their social media handle, Bhansali Productions tweeted,

“Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now... Further announcement will be out soon... God willing.”

Well, all we can hope is that the problems are soon resolved to that audiences can get to see this film finally. It was also reported that the theatrical rights of the film had been sold for a whopping 190 crores. In fact, so hyped was this film that Rohit Shetty moved the release date of his next film from the cop universe, Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar.

Well, now that this project has been shelved, we have to wait for what film Salman Khan would come up with. He has promised that even though Inshallah might not release on Eid 2020, he would gift his fans with some other film. Would it be Veteran remake or Kick 2?
