Shah Rukh Khan , Aamir Khan And Other Bollywood Celebs Meet PM Narendra Modi To Discuss Mahatma Gandhi 150th Birth Year Celebrations

PM Narendra Modi recently got together the biggest stars of Bollywood to meet and discuss ways to celebrate the 150^th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, which is sure to be one grand affair. Celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Ekta Kapoor, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar, Aanand L Rai, Kapil Sharma, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu, Boney Kapoor , Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor and others met the Prime Minister to launch the new initiative ‘Change Within’.

Speaking at the event, PM Narendra Modi said, “The power of creativity is immense and it is essential to harness this spirit of creativity for our nation. Several people from the world of films and television have been doing great work when it comes to popularising the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.”

The Bollywood stars also took this opportunity to thank the Prime Minister for showing so much respect to the film industry. Aamir said, “I want to appreciate PM for thinking about this effort. As creative people, there is much we can do. And, I assure the PM that we will do even more.” Shah Rukh added, “I would like to thank PM Narendra Modi for bringing us all together, that too for a cause such as this. I feel we need to re-introduce Gandhi Ji to India and the world.”

At the event,  a video directed by Rajkumar Hirani, celebrating 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi was released at the event which also featured celebs like Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, and Vicky Kaushal. Check out the video.
