Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan Jaffrey Starrer Hungama 2 Eyeing Summer Holidays To Entertain Fans In Theatres

A Priyadarshan comedy feels like the need of the hour after a tough year like 2020 and mercifully for fans there’s one on the horizon soon enough. The filmmaker’s sequel to his iconic comedy Hungama will be releasing in theatres this year and has been widely anticipated since it was announced in late 2019.

The movie with marks Shilpa Shetty’s comeback to the big screen is eyeing the summer holidays to entertain families in theatres according to a recent report in Pinkvilla. The movie which also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaffery, Pranitha Subhash, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania, Manoj Joshi and Johny Lever is expected to arrive in theatres in May 2021.

Ratan Jain from Venus confirmed the plans for Hungama 2’s release and told the portal, “We are discussing the release strategy right now, and targeting to release in the summer holiday’s around the month of May. The film is in edit stage and we will make an official announcement on exact date of release within 10 days.”  

Apart from Hungama 2 many more Bollywood films are finding their place on the calendar as the government allowed hundred percent occupancy in theatres starting February. Stalled films like Sooryavanshi, ’83, Roohi Afza, Radhe, Satyamev Jayate 2 and several others have already set their release dates and many more big release date announcements are soon expected to follow.
