    Sussanne Khan, Guru Randhawa, Suresh Raina Booked By Mumbai Police For Breaking Covid Norms At A Pub

    The Mumbai Police on Monday night raided a pub for breaking Covid-19 norms and booked over 34 people in at the venue including celebrities like cricketer Suresh Raina, Sussanne Khan and singer Guru Randhawa.

    The arrests of staff and attendees at the venue were made at around 2:30 AM as the club was kept open beyond permissible hours and breaking guidelines set by the Government keeping in view the ongoing pandemic. A Mumbai Police official informed ANI, “Police book 34 people including cricketer Suresh Raina & some other celebrities under Section 188, 269, 34 of IPC & provisions of NMDA after a raid at Dragonfly pub for keeping establishment open beyond permissible time limit & not following COVID norms.”

    Suresh Raina, Sussanne Khan and Guru Randhawa were later released on bail by the police. Suresh Raina, Sussanne Khan and singer Guru Randhawa.

    Among the IPC and NDMC offences for which they were booked include, Section 188 - Disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant, Section 269 - whoever unlawfully or negligently does any act which is, and which he knows or has reason to believe to be, likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life,  Section 34 - Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention.
