Taapsee Pannu is on a roll. The actress has been shooting for films back to back ever since it resumed post the pandemic. If all goes as planned, the actress would have as many as five releases lined up for 2020 itself. Taapsee is gearing up for Mithali Raaj's biopic, Shabaash Mithu now and learning to play cricket to perfection. Now, she might also be a part of yet another biopic of a sportsperson.

If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then Taapsee seems to have been approached to play Tennis star Sania Mirza in her biopic. According to a source quoted by the portal, "Taapsee has now been approached for the Sania Mirza biopic as well. This has been in the works for some time. Ronnie Screwvala bought the rights to her life. The makers wanted a younger actress to play Sania and after Parineeti Chopra playing Saina, they didn't want her to do it. They took the film to Taapsee who has liked the script."

We hope that Taapsee gives her nod because it would be a treat to see the actress ace the sport of Tennis as well. She has been prepping quite hard for Shabaash Mithu and was also practicing running for Rashmi Rocket. She had also learnt to play hockey for Soorma.
