    Tamannaah Bhatia: "My Battle With COVID-19 Was Really Tough Despite My Good Fitness Level”

    The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us all and many had and still are contracting the novel virus. Not just the aam janta but celebs too had been down with it. In fact, Baahubbali actress Tamannaah Bhatia's parents and later she had herself contracted coronavirus. Now, she has opened up about her fight with it.

    Talking to TOI, she revealed that her fight was tough. She said, “On one of the days of the shoot in Hyderabad, I got a high fever. So, as a precautionary measure, I got myself tested, and it ended up being positive. The symptoms were persistent, so I decided that getting hospitalised was the best way to deal with it. During the last few days of quarantine, I experienced all the symptoms that are associated with coronavirus, which included oxygen levels dropping, headache, body ache, fever, chills and feeling disoriented, among others.”

    She also revealed that her parents had been 'fairly alright' compared to her. She added, “I didn’t expect that it would be so bad. I realised that the virus affects different people differently. My battle with COVID-19 was really tough despite my good fitness level.”

    She is right now working towards building her stamina and also revealed that she would now be extra cautious. We hope she recovers from the long effects of the virus soon.
