Nayantara’s next to be a horror film with Aari

Arrambam actress Nayantara is much into challenging roles these days. Her last movie outing was Nee Enge En Anbe, the Tamil-Telugu remake of Bollywood suspense thriller Kahaani. With five more projects in her kitty already the actress is said to have signed up for her sixth one, which is a horror film, to be helmed by newcomer Ashwin Saravanan and starring Nedunchaalai actor Aari in the lead.

A source said about the film, "Since this is a small budget film, the makers were initially looking at low profile actresses. But when they approached Nayanthara, she immediately agreed after listening to the script, even though she is doing many star films right now. It is a very unusual horror film and the plot revolves around Nayan's character and her relationship with a child." Presently the Filmfare Award winning actress is filming Ithu Namma Aalu, Thani Oruvan, Nanbenda and Kalyanaraman. She will also be seen in an item number in Rajinikanth starrer Lingaa. This horror film is set to go on the floors from next week.
