Sathyan Roped In For Vijay 61

After his two super hits, Atlee’s third film, which is temporarily titled as Vijay 61 has come to the fore; it is forging ahead with its stellar star cast. We had learnt that the film starred SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Jyothika. The recent development in the film is that one more character has been added to the cast now, and that actor is Sathyan.

During an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, the 41-year-old actor said, “Yes, I have been roped in to play a pivotal role in Vijay 61. I can’t reveal much about my character right now. I will join the sets from March.” There were also rumors that Vadivelu and Soori have been offered to provide comic relief in the film; but officially it hasn’t been announced yet.

However, Vijay 61 will go on floors on February 2 in Chennai. Presently, the set works are in progress in the city. Few portions of the film will be filmed in the US and UK during April and May. The film will be produced under the banner of Sri Thenandal Films. Editor Ruben and debutant cinematographer Vishnu have been roped for the technical work.
