Sivaji Family’s 3 Generations Get Same Release Date

Three different movies involving the three generations of the Sivaji family will release on July 31st. Late Sivaji Ganesan, his son Prabhu Ganesan and grandson Vikram Prabhu will be on the big screen, on the same day. It will be a memorable day for the entire Sivaji family.

Veerapandiya Kattabomman, a 1959 blockbuster, starring late Sivaji Ganesan has been re-mastered with modern digital and sound technology. The movie was directed by B. R. Panthulu and focused on a brave fighter named Veerapandiya Kattabomman and his fight against the oppression of the British. Prabhu Ganesan, son of Sivaji, might also get a release date of July 31 for his film Sakalakalavallavan Appatakkar. 

Vikram Prabhu, son of Prabhu Ganesan, is the third generation of the legendary family. His upcoming film Idhu Enna Maayam will also be releasing on July 31. The movie is directed by A.L. Vijay and produced by Sarathkumar, Raadhika Sarathkumar and Listin Stephen.
