‘Akhil’ Collects 9.8 Crore on Opening Day

The debut film of Akhil Akkineni ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ hit the screens couple of days back. The film has been criticised for its poor script. However, the socio-fantasy film is doing a good business at the box office.

According to reports, the V.V. Vinayak directorial managed to collect Rs. 9.8 crore on its opening day. The makers promoted the flick on a grand level and this has resulted in a great first day business. The team of the film arranged a press meet yesterday to thank the audiences.

Nagarjuna also cleared that he had no clashes with his son. He said, “We are not such a stupid family to quarrel for nothing. At times, even I might lose my temper but both my sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil are so cool headed. They never get angry. This is the very first film for Akhil and I am so happy with the result”. He added that he would give 5 star rating to the film considering the performance and dance moves of his son.
