As Om Namo Venkatesaya’s Releases Today, Nagarjuna Offers Prayer

Yesterday, Nagarjuna offered special prayers to Lord Venkateswara Swamy at the holy Indur Tirumala Temple at Narsingpally Narsimpalli village in Nizamabad. The actor went with his whole team at the temple to offer prayer for his upcoming movie Om Namo Venkatesaya which releases today. The hopes are high with the movie and is expected to do exceptional work at the box-office.

After the prayer, the actor shared his experience on working on such films. Claiming that the film is a family entertainer, he said fans would love this movie. He also said that he feels blessed to work in devotional movies such as Annamayya, Sriramadasu and Shirdi Saibaba.

Lately, the film was embroiled in a sort of controversy related to its title. As per the Telangana Tribal Employees Federation president Pandu B. Naik, the story is totally based on Hatiram Bavaji and thus the film should be named as Hatiram Bavaji instead of what it is originally named. The movie stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Anushka and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles.
