Bangalore Film Festival inaugurated

The opening of the Bangalore International Film Festival 2012 yesterday was a grand event which was attended by many big film personalities, including Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, internationally-acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Masahiro Kobayashi, filmmaker K Vishwanath and actor and director K Ravichandran.

Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy chairman Tharaanooradha has inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The theme of the one week-long film festival this time is ‘The World in Bangalore’ and the event was opened by noted The Netherlands’ director Bouwdewjin’s filmKauwboy.
