D Venkatesh Enters Into Film Distribution Business
Actor Daggubati Venkatesh of DV Cine Creations made his way through cinema business with zeal and interest. Recently, the 55-year-old actor announced three dubbed films under his home banner. These include Jiiva-Kajal Agarwal’s ‘Enthavaraku Ee Prema’, Vijay Sethupathi-Gayathri’s ‘Pizza 2’ and the dubbed version of Ram’s directorial ‘Taramani’, which features Vasanth Ravi and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles, and Anjali in a special role.
The latest we hear about the actor is that his company has ventured into film distribution. A spokesperson was quoted as saying, “Small producers are facing many problems in planning their films and releases due to the shortage and non-availability of theatres. To lend a helping hand to such producers, D Venkatesh is entering into film distribution business”.
D Venkatesh also admitted that he has personally experienced and understood the pathetic situation of small producers. He stated, “This is my small and first effort to help them. I promise to give my best as a distributor to improve the prevailing situation. Initially, I am starting off with the distribution of small budget films and eventually collaborate for high budget entertainers”.
On a related note, Daggubati will be seen in Sudha Kongara’s upcoming flick ‘Guru’, which is the remake of the director’s Tamil film ‘Irudhi Suttru’. The Tollywood version will release next year.
