Jiiva’s Rangam 2 To Release On This Date

Ravi K. Chandran’s Rangam 2 is the Telugu remake of Jiiva’s Tamil action movie Yaan. The first iteration Rangam was the Tollywood version of the actor’s another flick titled Ko, a Kollywood political thriller. The latest we hear about Rangam 2 is about its release date.

According to recent media reports, the upcoming movie will hit theatres on November 25. The movie stars Thulasi Nair as the female lead. Thulasi is the younger daughter of yesteryear actress Radha and sister of Karthika Nair, who shot to fame after starring opposite Jiiva in Ko.

The release date of Chandran’s next was revealed at an event held in Film Chamber recently. The event was attended by producer K.V.V. Satyanarayana, Samudra, young producer Bharath Chowdhary, filmmaker Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao, and actor Vijay Devarakonda. The flick has been bankrolled by AS Balaji, who was quoted as saying, “Rangam was a milestone movie in Jiiva's career.  This is again an exciting subject”.

The movie will also feature M. Nassar and V. Jayaprakash in key roles. The flick will clash with Srinivasa Reddy’s Jayammu Nischayammu Raa.
