May 6 Finalized For Brahmotsavam

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film gets a final release date. Speculations were rife that Brahmotsavam’s release date has been shifted to May 31, which was a major disappointment to the actor’s fans. But, seems like after all the troubles faced by the film the makers don’t want to upset the fans now and the release date has been delayed by just a week from its initial release date, April 29. Brahmotsavam will now hit the screens on May 6.

Actresses Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Pranitha will be seen alongside Mahesh Babu in the upcoming drama venture. Reportedly, Classic Entertainments has bagged the overseas rights for the film. The family entertainer is written and being directed by Srikanth Addala. Brahmotsavam is bankrolled by Prasad V Potluri under the banner PVR Cinema.

The film is all about family values and celebrating traditions. Mahesh will be seen playing the role of a loveable boy and a responsible son. During the official launch ceremony of the film Adaala stated that the storyline of the film is based on his 2013 directorial, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu featuring Mahesh, Samantha, Daggubati Venkatesh and Anjali.
