Reason Behind Dhruva’s Release Postponement

Ram Charan will soon be seen in the upcoming action-thriller ‘Dhruva’ where he shares screen space with Rakul Preet Singh. The theatrical trailer for the film was recently released and the fans loved it. They are quite excited about the film but, will have to wait a little longer as the release date for the film has been postponed by one week. Producer Allu Aravind recently shared why he had to postpone the release.

Initially, the movie was planned for release on December 2 but now, it will hit the screens on December 9. Arvind revealed that the reason behind this move was demonetization and the cash crunch following it. The filmmakers believed that the movie will not get the response it deserves as people are preoccupied in standing in lines for ATMs and banks.

The producer also shared that the entire team will be present at the premieres in San Francisco and New Jersey. They will also be attending the pre-release function in Tirupati on December 4. ‘Dhruva’ has been directed by Surender Reddy and the cast also includes Arvind Swamy and Navdeep.
